AANAC and AADNS are now the American Association of Post-Acute Care Nursing (AAPACN). Together, we are 15,000 RNs, LPNs/LVNs, administrators, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members who confidently lead the delivery of quality care in skilled nursing facilities. The new AAPACN offers members expanded benefits and networks for success across various post-acute care settings.

FAQs about the AANAC and AADNS transition to AAPACN

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO CHANGE MY MEMBERSHIP FROM AANAC OR AADNS TO AAPACN?

You don’t need to do anything. Your membership, education history, and certification information have transfered automatically to AAPACN.

WHAT ARE THE MEMBERSHIP DUES FOR AAPACN?

The dues for a one-year membership to AAPACN are $136 and $236 for two years for access to all the member benefits, articles, and resources formerly included with AANAC and AADNS memberships.

I JUST RENEWED MY AANAC/AADNS MEMBERSHIP. WILL I NEED TO RENEW AGAIN IN MAY?

No, your AAPACN membership expiration date will be the same as your AANAC/AADNS membership expiration date.

WILL I STILL BE ABLE TO ACCESS THE AANAC AND AADNS WEBSITES AFTER THE TRANSITION TO AAPACN?

No. The AANAC and AADNS websites are offline, but don’t worry! All your education information and all the resources you had under AANAC and AADNS are available right here on AAPACN.org.

DO I NEED TO CHANGE MY LOGIN/PASSWORD INFORMATION FOR THE AAPACN WEBSITE?

No. The login and password you use for AANAC or AADNS has not changed, and you can use it to login to the AAPACN website.

WILL I STILL BE ABLE TO ACCESS AANAC/AADNS COURSES THAT I’M IN THE PROCESS OF TAKING?

Yes. You still have access to any courses that have not expired and will be able to complete the exams. You are still be able to access any current certifications and download and/or print.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THE ONLINE AANAC AND AADNS COMMUNITIES, DISCUSSION GROUPS, AND LIBRARIES?

AANAConnect and the AADNS Network have become a new member community on AAPACN.org. The discussion groups and libraries are be there, too! This means that you are still be able to belong to and participate in the same groups as you do now. Groups like the LTC/MDS network are still here on AAPACN.org.
